BRANGWYN HALL

WE ARE THE FIRST PARANORMAL GROUP TO INVESTIGATE HERE.
BRANGWYN HALL

Situated within the Guildhall Swansea we had been allowed to investigate the halls, stage areas, cells and
courts for any paranormal activity.

We split into two groups;

Phil’s team

Phil and Emma both feel a presence in the cells it is residual energy.
Possible orbs are caught on camera by the gates which are near the entrance to the courts. Helen calls out
and the name of John is given. She senses prisoners in and out of the cells. A man wearing a small flat cap,
shirt buttoned up to the top with no tie, carries a ring of keys with him. William is mentioned a lot of possible
orbs caught on camera.
Emma and Phil go to the court, they pick up on accused emotions, feelings of adrenalin, anxiety and very hot.
They feel as if they are being watched. Emma who picks up on emotions very easily is very hot and her heart
is racing.  The room feels as if it is crowded with people, there is one spirit man standing next to Phil, he has a
beard white hair, suddenly the alarm goes off in court 1, no one at the present time was any where near or in
court one.
Phil goes to assist the other group as a problem has arisen.
He returns to his group and they go to cell number 4 where Phil is uneasy. An unpleasant smell is in the
corridor, the atmosphere is very heavy. Emma feels sick with fear. Emma walks from corridor to locked door,
she picks up on the feelings of it being a final journey, feels weepy, sick, she feels awful and the feeling of
‘no return’ the feelings suddenly go. They leave the corridor.
There is a definite feeling of capital punishment.
Rustling is heard in one of the cells by Phil and Emma, Helen feels as if someone is standing by her right
shoulder. The name of Martin is given and Phil asks him to close the door but he says no.

Coffee Break 10.40pm

Whilst we have a break Phil and Helen on returning from a cigarette outside tell us that Phil was pushed down
and his rosary beads torn off him by something there is a scratch on his chest. Jeannette and Helen go to
review the area there is a possible cold draught but nothing is really felt here. Why can’t spirit do things when
you have a camera in your hands so we can get the evidence??

Helens team;

A cell, Jeannette picks up on a male 5’6’’ a residual energy the name of Bernard is given. Chris picks up on
the name Frank and Helen sees shadows in the next cell, so we go next door, Chris feels like banging his
head against the wall. Jeannette gets the name Thomas Ewoust and “I didn’t do it Maer Bach”
Natalie sees an orb in front of Helen, the atmosphere in the cell is very oppressive. Jeannette paces the cell
whilst Natalie can see a man with short spiky hair orange/blonde in colour he is unshaven. He rushes about a
nervous energy, he is not sure what we are doing and wants to speak through Jeannette, she will not allow
him as her guides tell her his energy is unstable. Some information is obtained though the year 1985 – 1986 he
was claustrophobic and would go mental in the cell kicking and punching the walls. He knew he was innocent
but had no way to prove himself. He committed suicide. Stealing and a motorbike were involved.
Chris picks up on a different energy and says that this energy feels he is safe inside here and no one can get
to him.
Natalie feels like she has been hit on the head, Jan has a sharp pain over her left eye and Jeannette has the
sensation of a migraine starting.  We leave the cell.
As we go to enter the last cell a hiss is heard and “get out”, as Jeannette and Natalie enter the cell Natalie
says it is as if she had just walked into a mattress, as Jeannette goes to speak she is over whelmed by a sharp
stabbing pain in her ears, a few seconds later the alarm goes off in court one. Jeannette is unable to stop the
pain and Phil and Pete are called to assist her in getting the energy to step back.

We go to the crown court room. The name of Tommy Welch is given, Jan feels sick and faint. Nothing else felt.

Civil court room, both jan and Natalie hear a loud knock and a hissing sound, Jeannette calls out and another
knock is heard. Jan is still feeling sick and faint.
Natalie and Chris both sense a man with a moustache.

Coffee Break 10.40pm

We are at this time all disappointed in having not received much information but if spirit do not wish to talk
then they wont and there is nothing we can do.
We decide to join forces;

Helen calls out to spirit no response, she calls again and possible orbs caught on camera. Emma picks up on
the name of Samuel. It is very quiet so we go underneath the stage.
Phil and Jeannette can both smell alcohol, Natalie and Emma smell play dough! Lights are turned off and a
click is heard above Natalie’s head, Natalie is poked in the back and another click is heard and another and
another! Natalie feels a little man 5’3 bobble hat, grubby, some teeth missing and stubble aged approx; 50/60
years. Jeannette is now calling out questions Phil wants her to ask there are several taps in response. Sighs
are heard by Natalie and Emma and Jan. This man was a smoker; he lost his voice and possibly a fisherman as
a hobby.
Wyn was asked if he could call out in welsh, no response. Emma calls out in welsh, Natalie feels he passed
with a stroke. Emma asks lots of questions, his name, why is he here, does he want to move on, knocks are
heard now and then but nothing else. He speaks welsh or English is indifferent to which language. Natalie
feels he was a shy man, Emma tells him we come in love and have nothing but respect for him. We all hear
chairs being dragged or moved above us in the hall. We all think the security men are moving the chairs but
as Pete runs up to have a look no one is around, so this remains unexplained.

We decide to go on stage. As Helen and Jan go into the stage area Helen sees a figure walk down the last
three stairs and go out through the door. Phil senses a man singing and a woman Margaret Rozmund aged 32
who came frequently to watch him.  Helen has the urge to sing Men of Harlech luckily for all of us she doesn’t!!
All is quiet on the stage, Emma and Natalie are drawn to sit at table number 20 where they sense someone
sitting. A gentleman Victorian era, asking them if they have seen his wife. There is a lady standing behind him.
Natalie feels the gentleman passed in his sleep. Jeannette joins them, and the lady tells her she is called
Margaret. The gentleman is Edward Edgar and the year around 1810 – early part of the century.
Jeannette says he passes quickly in his bedroom from a brain haemorrhage. Jeannette then describes the
bedroom with a bed, where the window is a dressing table and wardrobe she tells Emma and Natalie the exact
same as Natalie had been telling Emma before Jeannette arrived. She even describes the funny table with
bow legs; again Natalie had described it in the same detail to Emma. It is nice for Mediums to have this type of
confirmation. Jeannette feels he lived quite close. Jeannette can hear Glen Miller music, another gentleman
comes close, round faced moustache and is sitting to the right of the first gentleman. Jeannette and Natalie
feel this man saw service possibly Sergeant Major, Jeannette gets the address 95 LLanswilt Road. (Yet to be
confirmed).
A governess figure is seen further back, wearing a pinstripe dress, ruffled collar.

This is the end of the night’s vigil.  Not as active as we had hoped but there were some interesting light
anomalies caught on camera which are currently being analysed.  And some unexplained noises, very little
information was forthcoming. But a good night none the less.
