| Private Investigation at Broad haven. 9th February 2007 A big thank you to Jamie for asking us to his cottage, we were given a warm welcome and the investigators favourite… a hot cup of tea... We had been invited to investigate the cottage as Jamie the owner, a very spiritual and sensitive man, needed to have verification of things he had seen and heard. The Investigation. Bedroom one … Jamie’s. The reading had been conducted in this room and Jamie’s spirit friends did not want to move to one side so it was fairly difficult to get much information as one particular gentleman kept butting in and asking why we needed to know things, in the end our medium for the night told him quite harshly to back off and just watch, he laughed, and once he realised we were happy for him to remain quietly he allowed some energy to come in. In Jamie’s room is an old trunk and Jeannette was drawn to this. The name of William, a happy child but became very egotistical as he got older. He was burdened with financial worry’s, he was not a peoples person a much closed minded individual. Two images are being seen and both could have been an owner of the trunk. Firstly a Charles Dickens type of character with a longish beard, and then a small wiry man Jamie’s spirit friend insists Jeannette says he looks like a ferret! He is auditing books, had a miserable life but it was all his own doing. He does not wish to tell his story; he is not grounded but comes back as there are some happy memories in this area for him. Tapping would be heard as Jeannette is made to tap on the case, this is confirmed. Jeannette sees a red squirrel run across the floor and she says Isle of Wight… confirmed as being specific to Jamie. Jeannette feels there is a spirit within the large mirrored wardrobe door. This man is imposing and would make you feel uncomfortable. Not a nice feeling. He is tall appx; 6’+ and very upright, and very dark, as in you don’t really see any features. He does not like women. Jamie confirms he has seen and sensed a tall dark shadow and does not like the mirrors. He has seen him out the corner of his eye. This man is from Edwardian era, a landowner, quite well off. He stands and stares because he wants to know what Jamie is doing there. He would see the house as land which confuses him. Jamie see’s an orb over Helen’s head, Jeannette feels a bit dizzy for no reason. Scrying is attempted although Jeannette feels the man won’t show himself. Jeannette can not see the man but in later photographs there is something a bit odd about the photo, we are awaiting an original of the picture to investigate it further and will put findings on the site as soon as we can. Meanwhile, Caroline is boiling hot to touch on her cheeks and she has a rash appear on her right arm, temperature showed up no difference. Jamie also feels boiling yet Kerry is shivering. Jeannette can see Jamie’s aura at the moment and says he needs healing, also the colour mauve which means he is a spiritual man. Jan is also told she has a lot of orange and yellow which means she is emotional. Scrying has not worked as predicted; Jeannette says horse’s hooves and cattle would be heard …. Jamie’s cottage is a converted barn! In the corner a spirit of a male child, residual energy, Jeannette feels like she is standing on a boat the floor feels as if it is moving. It is thought a vortex is here as a lot of moving energy, which would suggest a doorway for spirit. Bathroom. A male energy, again, someone who did not like women. This is not the same man from the bedroom. Jamie sees a man walk behind Jeannette just as Jeannette says the same, he is the same height as her but slightly wider and is standing to her left side. Name of Henry is given, a name quite pertinent to Jamie and Helen says it could be the spirit has given this name as it’s a name which Jamie associates to happy times, therefore would make Jamie feel secure. Jeannette jumps as she is poked/pinched on her neck almost like a bee sting, a cold draught is felt on her back. There are light anomalies all around Pete who is standing next to Jeannette. Jeannette calls out to spirit more lights are appearing, Helen our main camera person feels she can no longer hold the cam corder as it seems to have become very heavy and she has a pain in her right shoulder. (In all the investigations we have done this is a first for Helen). The name of John is given, animals are walking through and this is shown with light anomalies as Jeannette asks them to carry on walking, also shown when a man walks through. Jamie has cobweb effects all over his face and someone tugs on his left sleeve. A huge orb is seen going toward Jamie who is sitting in the bath …like you do ….. As we have all crowded into the bathroom. Henry is here, he scratches and pinches …. Confirmed by Jamie This spirit is possessive of Jamie; the name of James is significant. Victorian era, a shadow flits across Jamie’s shoulder the name of Marty also. The whole area of the bathroom is miss-matched, it just doesn’t feel right, and Jeannette says the corner where the toilet is, outside, as well as indoors, feels the worse Jamie confirms he hates the area outside. 1565/1600 – 1700 era is given, a wench style woman who worked in a dairy was raped in this area by a wealthy man, this woman also plied her trade in a nearby tavern/inn to earn some more money. A large old fashioned pitch fork is seen placed over this women’s neck as she is ‘held in place’ whilst an almost ritualistic rape takes place, the rapist is shown wearing a mask and large hooded cloak. And although she was not killed here she took her own life in a nearby river, this river is not deep, but the lass laid face down and gave in to her chosen way of passing, at the age of 17. Her name was Gwen Morris. She could no longer cope with the way her life was. Janie confirms there is a shallow river nearby also an Inn. 11.40pm Lounge/kitchen. Jamie goes to let Poppy–Anne the dog out and the front door swings open on its own. Whilst just sitting around in the dark in the lounge talking Jamie and Jeannette hear Poppy walk down the hallway get into her dog bed scrabble around like they do and settle down. But what they don’t realise is that the dog has been cuddled up on the sofa the whole time between Kerry and Caroline. This is a good audible as both Jeannette and Jamie heard the exact same thing, no power of suggestion because when they were told the dog was on the sofa they both gasped and said in unison “but we heard Poppy go to her bed” we were all pleased with this phenomena. We decide therefore to go back to the bedroom. This room is now freezing cold. Jamie feels a cold draft and Caroline’s cheeks are hot again. Kerry takes a few photo’s of Caroline’s reflection in the wardrobe doors, the face again looks like it has changed to a man’s. This will be looked into further. Jan stands were the vortex is and feels sick and has a headache. Something prods her in her shoulder and plays with her hair; she goes and sits on the bed. Jamie gets a pinching headache and cob webs against his face. Jeannette’s right arm is touched Jamie’s finger is tickled and his Jean pocket tugged, Jan jumps up as someone touches her bottom. All goes quiet. We close for the night. We have caught some brilliant light anomalies and managed to confirm Jamie is not going mad, things he has seen and felt were verified by our Medium. A great night and heartfelt thanks to Jamie for his warmth and hospitality. |
