REPORT, PHOTO'S VIDEO CLIPS.

This was a management only investigation as the pub is quite small.
We are welcomed by David and Sam owners of the Brunant Arms.

10.30pm

We start of downstairs in the main bar area,

Jeannette senses a man sitting in the far corner, his name is Albert Williams, he has nothing to do
with the pub he is associated with the seat, which is the oldest piece of furniture in the pub. It is felt
the seat is from a church and Lee says third row back, this gentleman is high office, a high standing
man, someone in authority. You would respect him but not mess him about. The year of 1652 is
given; this is to do with the age of the settle than the era of the man. This man was a councillor,
pipe tobacco is suddenly smelt by Lee, Jeannette and Jan. Jeannette gets a date of 1910,and the
smell goes.
It is a warm summer night but Jeannette now has goose bumps.
Albert was on the church committee. He passed with stomach cancer Aged 67 years. Lee can now
see him he is smoking a pipe, about 5’10/5’11” slim build and would always wear a shirt and tie. He
has silvery grey hair, thin on top but combed to the side, and a moustache.
He comes rarely in visitation.
The name Mary Williams comes through not linked to Albert whom we had earlier. 1800’s she is
buried in the nearby graveyard. She tells Jeannette that the surname Williams is very popular in this
area. Jeannette has a sudden blinding headache also a pain at the back of her head, there is a
connection with the outside of the building, Jeannette’s head hurts so much she asks spirit to step
back and Mary goes.

It is the mid 1900’s and Jeannette can see a group of men huddled around a table conspiring over
something, there are 10 of them. They are writing down and passing bits of paper round so no-one
can see. Something to do with war, the name Dai Evans is given.

We move to the other side of the front bar to the windows, were a lot of orbs have been picked up
on camera. Jeannette sits down at the table. Lee is pacing up and down.

Lee has picked up on a small boy called Thomas, 9 years old, who passed by being trampled on by a
horse. The year of 1647 is given. The boy shoes horses, the accident happened outside, but Lee is
also shown the inside, he asks why the accident happened out and inside but no explanation. Helen
suggests that maybe he was bought indoors after the accident and this is where he passed. He is
grounded; he is looking for his grandparents who used to live here.
He is 4’7 wearing a cap/hat has black hair. He likes to follow people into the pub, he is curious at
what we are wearing, and how people look now…it fascinates him.
Lee’s right arm is aching and he is swaying unsteadily on his feet.

Jeannette is picking up on a woman being hit on the back of the head, around here, she is
prominent with this building, but feels she was more probably injured in woodlands nearby. Again
the 1800’s are given and this could be the same lady hence Jeannette’s earlier headache….possibly!
Lee’s arm is aching really badly, linked to a lady, she died of a brain haemorrhage, Lee still feels
numbness and unsteady on his feet. The haemorrhage did not kill this lady but did leave her
paralysed. Her right arm is just hanging down. She is dusting with her other hand, keeping busy.
Her name is Martha Phillips. She lived here with her daughter and son-in-law 1952 – 1967. She was a
busy lady always cleaning.

Jeannette has goose bumps and is really cold, cobweb feeling on her face. Victoria
Hunter/Huntington is given no other information.
Lee calls out to spirit – he asks the spirit that is with Jeannette to communicate with us. John comes
through, aged 64, he doesn’t live here he comes in for his drink. Jeannette again suffers another
headache, a cold draught goes right through her and her mouth is feeling numb.
She can hear a man shouting “I’ve won the buggers” and it looks like he has a sheep under each
arm! Jeannette feels these were the prize for some sort of race.
Lee and Jeannette are both very cold, they can feel energy and static around the area.
Lee picks up on a girl called Rosemary, aged around 4/5 the year is 1822 and she passed in a fire, in
this building. She has light brown hair in a ponytail, and wearing a wine/red dress with a pinafore
over the top. She runs around upstairs and downstairs and would have been heard laughing. She is
grounded here, an only child. She likes to sit on the stairs.
Earlier on Lee saw something run past Jan; he now knows it was Rosemary.

Jeannette is praying!! Lee asks who is with her and Mary talks through Jeannette.
Lee asks Mary her age to which she is not happy. She lives here in the pub by herself. The pub
hasn’t really changed since she had it. She passed away nearby.
She has a strong faith and is often in the church opposite praying. She was married. 1840 is the era;
she does not wish to tell Lee how she died. She feels she still lives here, and visits the church
where she is buried with her husband William Williams.  She is aware of other spirits here but they
do not bother her, there are 4 more, they all get on and did not know each other in life.
She had a violent end to her life; she does not mind us being here but does not understand why we
are here. She is in torment; no one came to meet her when she passed and she feels she needs
forgiveness and prays for it everyday. She is tormenting herself for no reason that we can see, her
life was taken from her, and it is the same Mary Williams that came through earlier.

Upstairs – Lounge

Nothing other than a feeling of anxiety.

Bedroom 1

Lee picks up on a man, medium build flat cap, mac on, Lee is swaying again the same as downstairs,
this man comes in visitation. Albert, he stares at people in this room, Lee feels he is actually staring
at himself, at the time of his passing. He has left his body and is shocked to see himself lying on a
pallet bed. Name is Albert Frances/Francis he did not live here; he laid down for a rest in his
outdoor clothing and just died possibly a heart attack.  Aged 78 year of 1967. He was on his way to a
wedding, and stopped here over night.
Jeannette gets Jack come through, she is very unsteady on her feet also. Jack was a character
especially in the bar, he passed about 3/5 years ago. He was a man’s man but with women he would
flirt and be rather touchy feely. He was definitely a local man. He follows people around the pub and
will move bottles.

Lee can smell smoke in the room as if it is on fire. The temperature goes from 22.2c – 28c
There was definitely a fire here although the building did not suffer much damage.

Bedroom 2

Lee and Jeannette are swaying again but no activity here. Jeannette is drawn to a doll on the
window for no real reason, Lee feels Sam would have cuddled this doll when upset as a child, but
Sam can not remember doing that.
Nothing else is felt or heard here so we move on.

Bedroom 3

The name of Harold is given and Jeannette has someone blow hard in her ear twice, but again
nothing else is forthcoming.

Return to Bedroom 1

Again the room feels like it is more a ships deck than a floor, Lee, Jeannette, Jan and Angela all feel
that in one area it is unsteadying. Lee feels as if he is on a waltzer, and if you turn your back to the
bed the motion is stronger. It could be a vortex but we are really not sure.
Lee and Jeannette still feel like they are on a ship they are cold then hot and feeling nauseous.
Sam confirms she also feels unsteady in this room.
Jeannette feels that the covers would be tugged off here as well, Sam confirmed that she has
always been a sound sleeper the bedclothes don’t move whilst she sleeps… but in this room a
couple of weeks ago woke up cold to find the bedclothes on the floor!

We went back downstairs, disappointed that there had not been much activity. Sam asked if
we had found anything in the kitchen, we had missed it out!!! So Jeannette and Peter went in
there, Jeannette didn’t like the doorway and had the feeling of being watched and again
unsteady on her feet. Peter never felt anything.
Sam confirmed she hated going in there at night and especially the entrance.
Perhaps this is a spirit who just affects women.

Pete came up with an idea for all the "at sea" type feelings. It is possible the floorboards
were once part of a ships deck. Certainly a thought worth considering.

We would like to thank both Sam and David for their hospitality.
The Brunant Arms is a lovely village pub,
We certainly would recommend a visit.
