| CAREW CHERITON CONTROL TOWER |

Link to Carew Cheriton Control Tower We are met at this amazing unique refurbished World War 11 RAF control tower by Andrew and his family; he talks to some of the team about the history of the place whilst the Mediums are sent out of ear shot! As we are taken to the area where the hanger would have been we all sense we are being watched, Shirley is feeling warm, her husband feels like someone has just walked over his grave…that shudder you get for no reason. Jeannette feels there are four men in the hanger; Lee senses the change in energies as do Jeannette and Emma once they step over the remains of the entrance. Emma feels a great sadness here. Jeannette picks up on a man who would have been crushed here, something pinned him to the wall. Thomas Edgars. Something not right about how he passed. We seem to naturally drift into two teams; Lees Team; Lee picks up on a soldier wearing a peaked cap with a badge on the side, he feels he passed in an explosion or accident. A plane came into land an engine was on fire and one wheel would not come down, the plane radioed in but the plane exploded on impact. The soldier was trying to help with the rescue this is how he passed. The age of 23 and the year 1937. He wears a beige uniform with badges embroidered on his jacket, green blue and one red badge. A dog called Sam is also on the airfield. A sheriffs badge is being shown, also Canada this is felt to do with the soldiers father as the names of Thomas and Brian Harding are given. Lee feels the soldier was mechanic seen in overalls. He is not bitter about his passing he is 5’7-5’8 in height and is wearing a black band on his left arm. Cemetery Lee picks up on at the grave of C.W Jackson that he feels this man passed with a head trauma (also felt by Emma & Jeannette ), he wears a blue uniform and air force is given very strongly, this lad was a pilot and also possibly a gunner. The trauma is a gunshot to the head whilst flying. Lee feels this man was only a gunner when they were low on men. He is short and stocky about 5’5. The initial W is given, and Walker is coming through but not strongly, this may be his middle name. Lee is shown him flying the plane and wearing a brown leather hat with a different hat for other duties. He is in visitation, Lee feels he died in friendly fire and can see lots of planes. Lee that the people in the second and last grave died in a fire or explosion. At the grave of RG Smith, Lee feels fire then water, as if the plane burst into flames then crashed into water, he was still alive when the plane hit the water , he saved a colleague but passed himself, the name of Samuel is linked here, Lee feels that a member of his family would have received the George Cross for his bravery in the rescue of two members of his crew. He suffered burns to his left side of the face and was also hit by a metal object which resulted in a fracture. The initial A is linked to this man, the age of 24 given, and the name Aled may also be linked. (It was confirmed that this crew passed by drowning). At the grave side of J. K, an explosion, the age of 18 is given also 23, he is not wearing a uniform but a green one piece similar to a jumpsuit, and he is wearing a peaked hat. Five people passed together in this explosion, a pilot error, feels like a panic attack and being scared of what was going to happen, he tells Lee it happened so fast that nothing could have been done. Trees had something to do with it, as the plane was flying low and coming in to land fast. Lee feels C.J Rademaker may have been in the plane. Bungalow. A horse is felt by Lee and also he is being made to stand to attention, he has a cropper placed under his arm he is sporting a thick moustache; his boots are shiny, like mirrors, a very strict and proud man no nonsense e taken from anyone. This man understands the stress these men and women were under. A green uniform peaked cap green with a black peak, he comes across as a typical sergeant Major who is grounded here, and Lee is drawn behind the large the trees to where he walks. Lee sees him walking through he barracks checking beds and lifting mattresses up, he is looking for smuggled alcohol which has been hidden in plastic containers. Seven people were reprimanded for drinking whilst on duty. Barracks would have been in the area towards the cemetery, open top jeeps are also show to lee. Jeannette’s Team; Emma and Jeannette see eight spirits watching them as they walk down to the war graves. There are spirits here who have not moved on. The spirits are leaning against the trees watching us; there are Americans, Canadians and Australians. Suddenly Emma and Jeannette grab their right leg just above the knee and start limping, they both feel as if they have been shot in the leg (it was quite funny watching this happen). Jeannette says the guy was an American just the name of Chuck (Charlie) and then her stomach turns and she feels panicky. She sees the image of a plane a Hurricane, crashing nearby. Still feeling sick and panic stricken she just says “Holy Moses” and that’s it. This is how Chuck would have passed a fleeting panic and nothing. The name of Charles Frederick is heard. Jeannette also feels that Lancaster bombers would have been here and also Spitfires would have flown overhead…. (Confirmed) The sound of marching is heard by both Mediums, a cold breeze rushes past them. A lady is sensed walking to the cemetery, her husband lost in the war she is still emotional and very tearful. She visits his grave the initials M E Shaw flight sergeant, pilot, royal Canadian air force, passed 26.8.1942 aged 29 The name Margaret is given. The two Mediums are not allowed to see the front of the headstones and walk behind them, as they both past the first one they hold the back of their heads feeling as if they had a blow to it. At the grave of R.G Smith passed aged 24 on 7.12.1942 a flight Sergeant/ air observer. Passed in an air crash. Jeannette picks up that he passed young, early twenties. He has been seen walking; a fire is associated with his passing also the month of December. A capital A is given we don’t know what this means in relation to him. .. This was confirmed Emma is standing at one headstone and can not seem to leave it, she is feeling very sad, on being asked Jeannette picks out two headstones the one Emma is at and another, and says for some reason they are related, they are in fact the two people who have been seen and identified, A. G Willis and Sgt FM McCaffery. She also says that the four headstones in the next row were related in the fact they all passed together in the early 1940’s …. This was confirmed. A. Barnes and R E Wilson was also connected … Helen feels a child spirit push her out of the way, Jeannette says the grave is on the other side of the cemetery also that of a young girl. ….. These are later found, Maurice George Palmer passed 4.04.34 aged 6 and Margaret Rose (see earlier) Griffiths aged 8 passed 12.05.48 Adam sees a man and woman (spirit) walking up from the trees the names of Benjamin and Helen are given. Lady wears a uniform the man is in civilian clothing. They visit a grave of a friend. Jeannette is laughing as she watches Lee from a distance as right behind him is a small stout man in green overalls giving him all the information about the headstones, she feels Lee has no idea of his new spirit friend behind him. The song Mr Sandman is given to Jeannette as she hums it walking . Jeannette picks up on a R.J Middleton possibly a Reginald he would have passed the same day as Smith. This spirit is restless and would move things around in the nearby farm house. Adam picks up on a Scots called Thomas aged 21. Also a plane crash in the garden of the farm house where we have now arrived. Unfortunately the owner had to go out so our expected investigation of the house was postponed, but in the grounds Jeannette picks up on ley lines and indeed there are churches and stones that could be conclusive of these energy lines being here. The atmosphere here is charged and you can see the energy as if it was coming across in waves. A lot of noises, movement and sightings would be seen her …. Confirmed Emma and Jeannette both feel that over the wall into the field there would have been a plane crash they both see and hear people running from one direction through the woods to the site. The swimming pool area is busy; lots of voices would be heard here also a tabby cat in spirit walks round. We are all shown to a turret that had only been cleared a couple of days before, the inside had not been touched for over 60 years… we climb in and to our amazement it could have been built yesterday, its dry and clean, there is no real energy here just the residual which Emma, Lee and Jeannette all say is an adrenalin rush akin to the feeling of “come on then lets be having you” there were no fatalities here a possible injury felt by Lee. They were proud to be there, proud to be fighting also Americans based. On returning to the tower Andrew is telling us about the history of the control tower and they would like to be able to find the original one, both Lee and Jeannette independently point out an identical area as to where they are drawn. We are hoping to return later and walk the site with Andrew to see if we can pinpoint the area. We return to the control tower for a tea break and for Lee to do his psychometry. He is handed a pair of flight goggles. The gentleman who owned these passed at the age of 78 a brain haemorrhage or tumour. He was a gunner, a blue flag with yellow cross on it… Swedish. He lost three fingers on left hand, the mechanism on a gun jammed and he lost his fingers. The name of Anton Millich. He was married and settled locally. He had been shot on his right side whilst in a plane, the bullet went right through his side and he did suffer all his life with back pain and troubles. He was just 22 when shot; he had three girls Dion, Francis and Elsie. After the war the goggles had been placed in a box and forgotten. He has a sense of humour as on being asked what he done after the war he said “well I didn’t play the piano” and pointed to the hand where he lost three fingers. He in fact became a teacher. His interest was physics; he lived in Pant Glas near Llandeilo. He tells Lee there’s a black cat that wanders around and then leaves Lee. At the top of the control tower there’s a feeling of peace and calm also the triumph of when a plane comes in safe. Jeannette can see airmen walking in the hanger area and they seem to shimmer, it is so real she wonders if there are actual people in that area. Lee says he doesn’t like the hanger area as he feels someone was murdered there but covered up to look like an accident. … Like he was crushed …. (This relates to what Jeannette had picked up on earlier, Lee had no knowledge of this at all. We all go out to the hanger area… At the far end a male energy is felt by all mediums, he is telling lee to get out in a very aggressive way. Jeannette sees Emma’s face change as she approaches her; it becomes quite wide and angry looking. Lee states that the man killed here does not wander the place but his killer does. The angry spirit follows Lee and both Emma and Jeannette clearly feel the negative energy when walking app.; 6 paces behind Lee. Andrews mum clearly sees a black Alsatian type dog which is the same one Lee had picked up on earlier. Helen calls out and Lee tells her the man is swearing at her. Emma hears a noise from the trees, the energy is getting stronger, and the Mediums join hands to see if they can communicate easier with combined energy, the energy is strong enough to push us backwards and we all find it hard to stay upright. Heavy footsteps are heard also the smell of tobacco smelt. The man is a large build he is scared and angry he calls Lee a ******* creep, and tells him to go he’s not wanted here. He’s scum. Jeannette asks if he minds the ladies being her, he tells her there are no ladies there!!! Lee has terrible stabbing pains in his back, it moves to Jeannette then Emma. Photos are showing an orb over Lees head, he moves away fro the ladies the energy follows more orbs around his head. The name of Matthew is given, he owns up to taking two lives one would have been the ‘accident’ the other is a man who looks like Lee (hence the hatred) he witnessed the murder and had to be silenced. It was a murder of silence, the first victim knew of the murderer’s homophobic ways and paedophile tendencies hence he was killed to be silenced. Andrews’s fathers face is getting very hot whistling is heard. There is no remorse as he tells Lee he would do it all again, he is not nervous of us being there but is unable to comprehend why Lee (alias the victim) has returned to the location. Poor Emma is shown graphic detail of what Matthew done to boys, Lee calls him a coward and Emma says that hit a raw nerve. The spirit is swearing and calls Lee an extremely rude name. A shadow is seen by Angela walking by the trees past the toilet block and down the side. As this spirit is getting so angry it is deemed safer to close the evening down. We do not like to anger our spirit friends and we therefore leave him with total respect. This was a truly wonderful experience, the whole area just oozes comradeship, and believe it or not, peace. We had expected panic, worry, fear all things associated with a very busy airfield during war time, but the wholesome atmosphere was a pleasant surprise. We would thoroughly recommend a visit; Andrew is a well informed charming guide and more than happy to show you around. It is therefore with the most grateful thanks to Andrew for allowing us the opportunity to investigate the premises and also the offer to return …. Which we shall do with a keen interest.
