| THE LIGHTHOUSE INN, ST BRIDES, NEWPORT 17th SEPTEMBER 2011 A JOINT INVESTIGATION WITH R.I.P SOUTH WALES. Thank you to Gareth for asking us to help investigate this venue with his team. We arrived early to meet up and have a meal together and to make a plan of action, unfortunately this turned out to be a little difficult due to the venue holding a horse racing evening which was rather loud although good fun, and we just could not hear each other, so we decided to take a walk outside the building and onto the beach area. Whilst eating Jeannette kept hearing a ships bell ringing and also told “the bodies were laid out the back” and a tunnel connected from just behind the bar area. It would be easy to presume we are on the coast and the bodies were shipwrecked victims, but thy did not feel like that, but Jeannette was unable to obtain any further information. Out by the toilets Jeannette senses a large male energy who likes to look over your shoulder rand push you. Outside near the beach Jeannette could hear a horse galloping towards them, she sees the land as being flat and trees coming right up to where the now large sea defence lies. Bodies were being bought from the sea over to the building but again did not feel as if they were shipwreck victims. Near to the actual building as we return Jeannette is (spiritually) whacked round the left side of her head and near the fence can feel lots of spirit energy near by. Julie and then Jan also stand by the sign and both feel light headed and begin to sway. Jan feels sick and has to move away. Julie feels a pain to the left side of her head. We return inside to the Inn to start investigating the upstairs area. 22.30 upstairs restaurant. As soon as Jan enters the room she feels overwhelmed and does not like the room. She has to sit down and feels faint and panicky, a blackness seems to over come her. Jeannette asks her to shut herself down psychically but she is unable to. Jan has tingling in her left hand and fingers and had to hold the side of the table for support. Feeling emotional and teary she feels as if a great weight is on her back and shoulders and her heart is pounding. Towards the counter end of the bar there is a lot of giddiness and swaying energies, we feel this may be attributed to all the electrical appliances although the EMF readings were negligible. Peter feels a sharp pain in his side. Jeannette calls out to spirit and Peter again gets a sharp pain in his left side. . Jeannette senses a male energy, Julies and Jason s chests feel tight, as if they have been running. Jason calls out, no response other than he is feeling uncomfortable, can not keep still as if someone’s around him feeling restless. Jeannette, who is at the other end of the room, feels almost spaced out and as if she is being pushed into Jan. She links into a man spirit, broad and almost stroppy in attitude. He calls out and introduces herself and the team to him, Jason’s camera batteries drain suddenly and Julie has a sudden pain across her chest. The name of John or Jean (French) come to mind and also the fact there is possibly two spirit men here. A male dressed in black, stocky, wearing a heavy looking calf length black coat and a black hat looking like a tricorn in style. She then feels as if someone is overpowering him and gets a suicide/murder in the last 30/35 years. The stronger energy returns, and he tells her he would fight for what he needed, but he did have a caring side. Young girls working here would be touched, he is nosy and has an eye for the ladies, but means no harm. The feeling of a murder/suicide returns.. It is felt that possibly there was a murder that was convincingly made to look like suicide. A restlessness, and Jeannette feels something around her neck and then water over her face, the name of Thomas (may be first or surname), and an age of approx; 21 - 25 years. She gets a poke in the stomach, she says the lights look pretty and then seems to just stand there with no awareness of what’s going on around her or being said to her. Possibly the last moments of this young lads life being replayed through her. After a while Jeannette returns to us feeling fine if not tired. But Jan is not herself at all. Jan complains that she has written a whole page and as she tosses her head in what can only be described as a petulant way, she bemoans the fact she hates writing because it is boring (now bear in mind Jan has always been our scribe since the group started nearly 5 years ago)! Jeannette is now feeling a little odd, as if she is becoming a male child, and suddenly asks Jan to play ring a ring of roses, but Jan says in a very bored girlie tone, “no it is a silly game, but the writing is even more boring”. So Jeannette asks if Jan wants to do some drawing, and they both move to another table at the counter end of the room, giggling and start to draw. Jan draws a house and Jeannette draws a face. They chat together like two little children. Jeannette tells Jan she is not being truthful and that Jan does push things and then Jeannette looks round to see who is listening/looking. Jeannette asks Jan if she likes the strange people being here, but Jan says there are no strange people here. Jeannette hides her picture from Jan, and Jan says “you can see mine” Jeannette sniggers and a change comes over her as Jan slumps onto the table. Her arm is hurting and she is upset, her head also hurts. Jeannette appears to snap back to herself and quickly assists Jan, but it is not long before she is feeling overpowered again and asks Pete to help Jan whilst she sorts out the energy wishing to channel through herself. Peter removes Jan from the building so that she can fully recover from what appears to be her very first trance condition. Jeannette strongly feels that a male energy helped a girl child to use Jan, it is felt the male may have been an abuser and by allowing Jan to channel the girl it was his way of releasing the child, thus enabling her free passage back and forth to he spirit world (freewill). Both ladies are fully recovered although totally drained of energy. We have a short break to reenergise and decide that the Ouija board with the portrait Jeannette has drawn, underneath it, may work with getting some more information, as the spirits here feel very reluctant to talk. Ouija Board session. Helen calls out to spirit. Q) Are you male? A) No Q) Are you a woman? A) No Q) Are you a girl? A) Yes Q) Can you spell? A) Yes and spells the name Katie Q) How old are you/ A) 12 years Q) Are you the girl who affected Jan A) no reply Q) Do you like it here? A) Yes Goodbye And the girl disappears instantly. Jeannette calls out to the male who appears in the picture to step forward. Helen asks the questions. Q) What is your name? A) No (spelt out) Q) Are you the energy that affected Jeannette? A) no answer although the glass is moving about. Jason calls out, and the glass moves again, Q) Are you grounded/ stuck here? A ) No Q) would you like to leave here? A) no The glass then keeps going to No, Goodbye, Goodbye and then a definite and sharp tug to GO We close down the board and go downstairs, unfortunately the downstairs still have a few people not in the investigation and although we try to pick something up we are unable to do so and time catches us up as we have a second location to go to. We have a quick chat to the owners, and find out that the landlady had interacted with a girl spirit, had heard crying and the words sorry upstairs in the restaurant. And that the building had at one time been used by the army. We thank them for their hospitality, and move to the next location.
