SALUTATION INN…. 16th APRIL 2006

Mark the landlord had agreed for us to do an investigation in this wonderful Inn. With its dark beams and thick walls, and
friendly staff, it is very welcoming.

Mark is having some considerable pain with his knee and as the technical guys sort their stuff out Lee and Jeannette take
Mark aside to do some healing. Whilst this is taking place Lee is approached by a little girl who is pulling on his jumper
asking him what he is doing. She is a spirit child aged about 5/6 years old. She has long white blond hair, and Jeannette is
told she was killed out the front by a car. Her name is Lucy.

Ros is picking up pain in her back. The year 1946 seems important.

The investigation began at 10.15pm in the Restaurant…. Old stables.

Grace & Ros are shivering, for no apparent reason.

A gentleman has stepped in his name is Sam; he was a previous landlord, appx 5’10 a practical joker and still is. He mucks
about opening and closing curtains, moving things around the Inn. The year 1982 and month of August seems to have
significance but no reason is actually given to the mediums.

The Inn is not feeling very active at the moment; we are being watched but not spoken too.

A young lad around the age of 12 is saying there was a fire here; he used to work with the horses.

A wolf is mentioned who would have something to do with the Inn. This totally throws the medium. But all becomes clear
at the end!

A Prince is seen not a nice person, 1400’s.

The medium is shown a modern day hospital and they feel that in the 14th century wounded people were treated here.

Battles would have taken place all around this area.

Ros feels something attached to a photo, but nothing else is forthcoming.

It is felt that the Inn has been changed structurally and that doorways and the far rooms are not as they should be.

A spirit lady is connected with her name Jackie, about 5’7/8 brown wavy hair, aged 58 years and would have passed with a
cancerous condition.
A man committed suicide just outside the Inn, he shot himself.

Jan, Jeannette and Ros all feel a cold draught.

A Jack Russell also runs through the Inn.

Lee picks up a man who used to come here when he was alive, in his 80’s when he passed of heart failure, had silver hair
and glasses. The year is 1987. The name… Albert john.
Lee is calling out for spirit to draw near, meanwhile Jeannette has just whispered to Jan the fact her bottom is freezing
cold, the landlady a few minutes later says she feels as if someone has their hands on her bottom…
Jeannette and the landlady were not near each other.
It is felt we are being watched by 3 men, they seem linked together, a male figure is seen, and footsteps heard.

Jeannette is standing in a doorway where spirit has been seen, suddenly Sian has emotional transference, spirit are telling
her to move Jeannette out the way, they don’t like her blocking the doorway, Sian is feeling very upset and claustrophobic
because Jeannette wouldn't’t move, she is feeling trapped even though she knows there is another door/exit in front of her
that she could leave from.
Jeannette talks Sian through some protection and Sian manages to collect herself from a surreal experience.

Jeannette remains with Sian and her mum whilst Lee takes the group through to another part of the Inn.
Sian and Jeannette feel a man is watching and laughing behind them, he is not threatening and we see orbs moving around
behind us.
Sian is very sensitive but would rather not acknowledge it and tells Jeannette that they haven’t got the name right … to
have a break and the name will come to them. Jeannette’s not too sure what that’s all about but agree a break is needed.
Meanwhile Lee has a gentleman, wearing a long coat and a hat. He is all in black and standing between the unit and the
mirror. He is just watching, and has been there all evening.
He was involved in a robbery, and Lee is seeing a blue velvet pouch holding gold coins. This man is on the run. There is a
cold spot where the man is standing, Jan, Mark and Ros all feel the cold and then it turns very hot. The temperature
fluctuates between 19.1c – 20.5c but the area feels hotter and coder than this!
The man was deceiving somebody with the coins; he was a debt collector and was stealing the coins from his boss. He was
on the run and died by being hit by a branch when he was on his horse, his neck was broken. The year is 1673. In this
area Marks dogs go mad, this man does not realise he has passed over. He is in disguise and wont show himself. He still
thinks he is on the run. He wanted the money to buy a piece of land; he sees this as woodland and not a pub. The
salutation was here in that era, but would have been surrounded by woods. The man has a hideout in the woods.

11.15pm Break for Coffee

11.30pm

Lee picks up on a woman aged 92 who lost the use of her legs. She is wearing a multi coloured shawl and a frilly bonnet.
She passed with a massive heart attack, her daughter lived here at this time this lady would have been staying with her.
1927 is the year. It was an illness that had made her legs useless, typhoid is given, and she was not a nice person and as
she was suffering her though everyone else should also. Nothing was ever her fault always someone else’s; she used her
stick to bang on the floor when she wanted something. On this lower floor she was able to use her wheelchair. Her long
suffering daughter was called Denise.
Lee is picking up on the man who committed suicide, mentioned earlier …
He was dealt a bad hand in life and is not happy; he thinks that as he is not at peace why should anyone else. He is 5.10’’ –
5.11” aged 23, slim build, wearing a denim jacket a shirt and jeans and brown shoes. It is felt this is a recent suicide. Mark
Thomas, he never lived at the Inn, years 1977-78 everything was to much for him and he could not cope with the simplest
thing, even getting up in the morning was too much. He comes here because he is noticed. He took his own life in a
garage close to the pub. He used to drink at the Inn and was at his happiest whilst here with his mates. The landlords
name was Morgan and Tracey. This spirit man has been seen walking outside down the road.
Jeannette, Peter & Helen have gone back to the stables and catch on camcorder orbs moving around, the names of Robert
McEwen, Thomas Evans are heard.

Marks dogs get disturbed in this room by something dramatic that happened!
Jeannette is getting this wolf again, Lee sees something black run under the table. Jeannette picks up on an old man, but
no other information is forthcoming, as she mentions him Mark sits down opposite her and feels very cold, the
temperature is 23c then drops to 20c there are now 3 men again and this wolf, a Prince walks here, Prince Llewellyn the
two men are his body guards the temperature has risen rapidly from
22 - 26c.
1242 – 1257 is the time span given.

We move back down to the restaurant/old stables area.

Jeannette picks up on the name Daniel, he wants to communicate but feels there are too many people around. He is about
11 years old. Lee calls out to him the emf goes off right by Mark. All Jeannette is told is that this boy was kicked by a
horse and this is how he passes to spirit.

Jeannette gets the name Tommy/Thomas temperature shoots rapidly again from 19c – 24c no other information is given in
this area.
We decide to do glass divination, but move into the middle area of the restaurant.
Lee, Gary, Grace and Ros sit at the table…

Jeannette is asked to go upstairs by Sian who is curious to what she may pick up. Several things are picked up but as we
have been asked back to investigate the upstairs we are not going to say what happened and who is up there at this time.
Jeannette is shown where the cellar is and rather bizarrely can see a headstone in her minds eye!! This is actually
confirmed at the end of the evening by Sian, a woman is buried in the cellar.

Lee is calling out to spirit in the room, Mark joins them at the table and calls out to Daniel… nothing is forthcoming.

Mark and Lee leave the table and Jeannette and Sian take their places.

Sian calls out and asks if there is a male spirit, the glass moves. He is aged 40+ smokes a pipe and used to live there. His
name is Sam, there are 7 spirits with them tonight, he says the young boy is called David and was killed in a fire. He loves
the attention and us being there.
He likes the way the Inn is run, but misses Sian living there as he can not play jokes on her.
The glass is very slow so we decide to move to the smaller bar area … time is now 1.10am

Lee, Jeannette ,Sian and Grace sit at the table.
Lee calls out, a male spirit is with us, name of David, he lived in this area. He says there are 6 spirits present. Henry
muscles his way in he also lived here and David moves away.
He doesn’t like dogs or the cat and deliberately scares them away, he doesn’t really like anyone certainly not women and
it transpires he was gay. It is his pub and hates us being there, the name given is Henry Selwyn Allen. He only allowed
prostitutes in his bar. He is always miserable. He keeps moving the glass to Jeannette
Apparently she was known to him in a former life as a lady of the night…. After we finish rolling around laughing…
Henry says she was his friend, he likes her, feels safe with her. He was better known as Selwyn and prefers us to use that
name. He had the pub in 1915. He knows the dogs and cat can see him, he asks Jeannette something (she won’t tell us
what) and she agrees to something providing he stops scaring the animals as this upsets her. Apparently he eagerly agrees
and we will see what happens over the next few weeks if he really does stop scaring them. What we want to know is what
did she agree too????? But her lips are sealed.
A female spirit pops in she likes us being there, she was here in the 1700’s she passed with natural causes aged about 40.
She only comes in visitation, and is very aware of the other spirits.
A negative energy barges in and says he wants to harm Sian, Lee explains he is unable to do anything to us as we are all
protected, he makes out he has connections to Sian, the mediums feel he is lying and out just to cause trouble. His life was
taken from him, but he took a total of 6 lives in all. He is proud to be evil; there is a connection to witchcraft. He comes in
visitation… again something is not right and both Mediums think this spirit is lying as they get ready to send him to the
light Sian is feeling very dizzy, the room is spinning , she feels sick and Peter and Jeannette rapidly move her away from
this energy. She is taken to another room and recovers quickly.
Lee is sending this energy on his way.

The evening is closed down by Lee as Jeannette is dealing with Sian.

Afterwards Sian tells us that the wolf was right… she actually had a Canadian Timber wolf as a pet (specially bred as a
domestic dog we hope), and he used to be in the area where the mediums picked up his energy… he is still here on earth
though!

We would like to thank Mark and staff for a friendly welcome, and hospitality… the cake & chips were delicious!

We are very pleased to be asked back to investigate the upstairs area, and we will return in the near future with just the
management team to do this.
