| This was to be a short investigation after some local residents had started to feel very uneasy whilst walking in a local wooded area. We arrived at our hosts home and after a welcoming cup of tea we donned Wellingtons and coats to walk through the woods not far away. As soon as we stepped onto the pathway the energies changed, from relaxed to uneasy. A short way in and Jeannette felt as if she was being pulled into the ground, also a feeling of being shoved out the way confirmed by others. She also feels there was a large house, mansion like nearby …. confirmed We all felt as if we were being watched, Jeannette and Debbie both said simultaneously they were picking up witches and hanging from a large tree. Jeannette asks our host if there is a large tree on a bend further down, but she feels this is only coincidence as the original tree would have been long gone … this is confirmed. Julie has been feeling sick since she started walking down the pathway. Jeannette hears hoof beats and says it feels as if horses are heard walking, but on looking none are seen, again confirmed by our host. Jeannette picks up on there being a mine or pit. Debs again gets the hanging tree. Steve is given 400 years ago. As we continue there is a lull in the energy, Steve is picking up on children. Steve then picks up on a coal mine accident, he feels there’s a body near the entrance of the woods, where an accident occurred and the body was just left. (This has been confirmed, the mines were flooded and a man carrying a boy on his back slipped whilst trying to climb a rope out of the way of the floods and fell to his and the child’ s death). Steve is shown a clean shaven miner in our hosts house form about 60 years ago. At a certain point we all feel very heavy in energy, there are sudden and defined changes in energy patterns, we have reached the end of the pathway and need to go over a small bridge, a small group go first and can not believe the change in energy again its very airy fairy, others join them and all can feel the same. They all return back to the other side of the bridge and the heaviness hits them, Steve goes over the bridge and suddenly trots back pretty quick with a worried look. He is feeling very nervous, we all give him a funny look as the energy was amazingly good, so of we go, the energy is dark… what a change Julie and Jeannette turn to look across the river and both see a dark shadow of a man hurry across some trees, on closer inspection there is no way to reach these trees unless you are knee deep in the river. So definitely no one from our group. Julie and Jeannette both pick up on a witch finder general. Debbie suddenly says she is being told we all need to watch our backs and suddenly an icy energy walks straight through us all, Jan feels it as well (most unusual) and we feel it would be wiser to rejoin the group. Once on the other side Jeannette becomes light headed and feeling nauseous and unable to walk in a straight line. She can not bear to be near Steve and it is felt the witch finder is trying to share his influence with her, she holds strong though. Jeannette stops and listens to the marching beat of drums, calling men to war, she feels various emotions, scared, tearful, love, hate … we think she was picking up on the emotions of men going to war. (Our host feels that Jeannette picked up on the Romans marching to war, as an old roman road passes around the back of the houses into the wood). We return to the beginning of the wood, the mediums promptly lock in the witch finder general who will be dealt with from further a field. We return to the house to warm up and chat over our findings, when Jan, Julie and Jeannette clearly hear footsteps walk across the floors above, except all are accounted for in the human form. Jeannette feels the rooms should be much bigger and the fireplace is not right. She picks up on an old lady sitting in a rocking chair sewing, the spirit does not realise she has passed and it is her energy that can be felt by the owners walking round the home looking for her sewing. Jeannette explains to the spirit she has passed and the lady smiles and disappears. Julie, Jan, Jeannette and Helen go upstairs, the name of Mary is mentioned in the front bedroom, a feeling of an energy rushing out of the room. Not comfortable with the mirrors not only is it bad feng shui but just doesn't’t feel right. The energy in the back bedroom feels by all as if there is a portal, everyone feels as if they’re swaying and Jan’s vision becomes blurry. Debbie joins us, she goes into the same room and has the swimmy feeling and pain in left eye. Also feels a lot of loneliness there, a small figure hunched on the bed, a passing. Steve goes upstairs and Julie, Jeannette and Debbie come down. Steve picks up the same in the back room also a lot of family members in spirit coming in with a lot of love. Someone has been locked in that room, feels apprehensive and nervous like a child/teenager waiting for something. The room is not as it was! It may as well be another house Feels someone who suffered from a mental illness. A child who loved horses and horseshoes as this meant freedom. He states that the garage shouldn't’t be there when he looks out the window. In the main room he feels the same as Jeannette did, a heaviness not negative and comments on the mirrors. He senses a castle like building with wooden chandeliers and stone walls. (Steve was no where near Jeannette when this was picked up earlier and again it can be confirmed). The bathroom feels like a landslide in a tree house, piano music heard. A link with Wimbledon (place not tennis). We all feel upstairs has been set out wrong to which the owners agree. The evening comes to an end. We wish to thank our hosts for their hospitality very much appreciated. This was an interesting evening, not really what we expected at all and have no doubt we will return in the near future to see if anything has changed. |
