Firstly a huge thanks to Karl who arranged for us to investigate this wonderful building.

There were enough of us to split into two teams

Both teams started upstairs, Helens team one side of the gallery and Peter’s the other.

I will start of with the notes from Helen’s team.

Cabinet of Curiosity room       9.15pm

Lee picks up on a little girl at the age of ¾ passed over by falling and suffering head injuries. The name of
Sarah Louise is given and the year of 1728 is significant to her. The little girl was with her Aunt and Uncle on
this fateful day. At this point the video camera turns itself off. Marg; is the name of her Aunt and Edward is the
Uncle.

Lee then picks up a male who is tight lipped saying we have his stuff, he is saying we have his coins and that
he worked hard for them. Lee picks up on a caretaker, the year of 1947, he is wearing a flat cap, slim build 5’9
– 5’10 wearing a cream mac, grey trousers and black shoes. He passed away with throat cancer at the age of
68.
He has a lot of happy memories; this gentleman is in visitation, a lovely character who says it was a privilege
to work here. His name is David Daniels. When working here he says he had to keep an eye on other workers
as some were untrustworthy.
A cold draught is felt by one of the Helen’s Sarah has popped back to say hello. Sarah is grounded. The
accident happened as she ran around she slipped and hit her head on the steps. A man and a woman who
worked in the museum are the two people the caretaker didn’t trust.
Lee believes that people have felt a tugging on their clothes, possibly more women than men as Sarah is
looking for her mummy who had long dark hair.
Helen feels a cold draught on her right side. She picks up on a man who passed with T.B in 1893.

Archaeology Room 9.50pm

After being in the room for a few minutes the video camera switches itself off again. There is a full battery and
no timer so we have no idea why this is happening.
Lee picks up on a Victorian lady in the room who is attached to objects in the museum that belonged to her.
Her name is Annie Wiltshire.
Helen gets a pain in her chest and feels this lady would have had a problem with her neck and trouble
swallowing. Lee starts to get very breathless; the video camera switches off again. Annie has followed an
object to the museum, Lee feels the object is a statue, which is not from this country. About a foot high, gold
in colour with its eyes closed. Annie says that two of her Great – Uncles were searching for this object, one
passed whilst searching.
One side of the room is warmer than the other, lee Angela, Helen & Helen are much warmer than Karl and
Lindsey who are on the other side. Karl feels a chill on his right hand. Helen feels as if she has been hit on
the head with a metal object.

Egyptian Room 10.15pm

Other than it is colder here nothing else is picked up.

Tea Break 10.30pm

Lecture Room 10.50pm

Lee picks up on a Roman soldier wearing full battle armour and carrying a sword, this is a residual energy.
Helen picks up on a warrior monk.

Peter’s Team notes.

Archaeology Room 9.15pm

Jeannette can hear a mans voice talking, she sees a man in Victorian dress with a handlebar moustache,
about 5’8 – 5’9.  She is getting the Doctor and a name which not very clear sounds like Goff/Gough, he has
something to do with the museum, possibly gave them Egyptian items.

Mary is connected to this name as well. The year 1851 is given.

There is a man who is not happy with the changes to the building; Ian confirms that some of the rooms
downstairs have been altered. Charles Edwards is his name, he was a builder / labourer who helped build the
museum.
A lady in crinoline dress walks up the staircase, she tells us that there is more activity downstairs and to be
careful.
Mary Williams and Mary Edwards are two names called out.
A spirit is now in the room that is angry about something. Pete and Jeannette both call out to spirit no
response, they are just watching and waiting. For some reason this spirit just says “I don’t like Leslie/Lesley”
nothing else just that we don’t if this person is male or female.
They don’t like the colour blue… Ian confirms the new rooms downstairs have been painted blue.

Mummy’s Room

Jeannette places her hand on the case covering the Mummy, the name Hori is given, and that a Doctor gave
the mummy to the museum. Residual energy is picked up; whoever was in the Sarcophagus was someone who
attended to others. There should have been something gold entombed with the Mummy, it has been
removed. It is impressed upon Jeannette that all is not what it seems. No spirit is in this room other than when
the room feels really cold it is our friends just passing through. Ian confirms that the mummy was called
Hortem (Hori). Jeannette says the mummy was not royalty but would have dressed and looked after
something. Ian confirms the mummy was not royalty. There should have been a gold amulet, this is also
missing. Passing at the age of 20, killed by a knife.
Ian confirms the mummy was a priest and would have looked after things. He has been at the museum since
1870.
Jeannette sees materials in purple and gold, and gold arm bands about 6” – 7” in length being worn by Hori.

Cabinet of Curiosity.

Jan asks Jeannette to stand in front of a particular cabinet, she does and immediately picks up on a man that
would pace back and forth, his hand on his chin, there is something on display that is not displayed properly.
He is also looking for his medal. A Purple Heart. There are medals missing he says.
Lieutenant Colonel Sinclair is the given name, served in World War two. He didn’t like the Yanks!
He is making Jeannette walk back and forth back and forth. Apparently this man has been seen by visitors
pacing back and forth.
He was English London /Kent area given. His relatives donated his belongings to the museum. He was born in
Wales, but as he lived in England that is how he thought of himself…English.
He tells us there is an old Victorian man who stands in the opposite corner and shouts, the name Albert are
given. Albert walks around this room and many people would feel his presence as he follows them. Jeannette
has a thumping headache and a cobweb feeling on her face.
The name Ralph is given…no other information.
A possible vortex in the corner of the room, it is freezing and noted by all in the group. The Victorian man is
also the man in the cellar and he is telling us to get out. Pete and Ian call out as it is felt the women are not
liked. Nothing is forthcoming.

10.30pm coffee break.

Helen walks up the stairs and someone groans in her ear.
Jeannette sees someone walk past the door, but all the investigators are in the room and Helen catches orbs
on camcorder.
Kerry now has a thumping headache.

China Room …..10.50pm

Jeannette gets the name of Mary Edwards, Again sees a Victorian crinoline dress and is drawn to a cup and
saucer in the cabinet, this lady as gentry.

Thomas Edwards (no relation to Mary), a caretaker, employed here and looked after the exhibits. Does not like
women and is swearing at Jeannette, and walking away, this room would have been bigger in his day. He is
quite rough. Jeannette tells him to stop swearing and have some respect, she isn’t swearing at him so he is
not to do it to her. Jeannette tells the group where orbs are and these show up on camera. He does not like
Jeannette and Jan as they are too big! He likes s slim and young girls, he would have taken them to woods
near the museum. These would have been prostitutes.
He passed over 1867 – 24th august and is buried nearby.
People would be touched in this room; he doesn’t like the fingerprints on the glass and cleans the cabinets.
He is grounded and very angry.
He murdered a prostitute who was carrying his child, he was never found out, and he left her body by the
river. The name of either Susan or Suzanne is given. The surname is possibly Johnson aged 17years old when
she passed in 1846.
He tells Jeannette that he will only do something if she keeps the public away.
Jeannette is shown different bits of china and told by Elizabeth, Emily and Margaret that these pieces are
theirs.

The two teams join up and go to the Golden Gower Room……. 11.15pm

Jeannette is kicked in the shin by unseen feet and Lindsey picks up a lot of pressure at the front of her head.
The feeling that lots of men work here. Lee calls out to spirit. Several of the groups here whispering,
apparently this room was the original library.
A séance is performed, Jan feels a rush of cold air go past her and Lee can sense a man watching.
Helen, Jan and Kerry all feel a cold breeze go past but the temperature shows it is warmer!
Pete brings in the doorway portal hoping to increase spirit energy; it is placed in the middle of the séance
circle.
Jeannette picks up on a James who is linked to someone here a message is given to this person. Jeannette
suddenly feels she is shrinking in height down to 4’9, there is no explanation as to why she should feel this.
Lee picks up on a man dressed as a farmer in the far left hand corner of the room, called Joseph.
Jeannette is suffering from a really bad headache and crushing pains in her chest she decides the best
course of action as spirit don’t wish to take it away from her is to leave the atmosphere. As she goes Lees
asks spirit to remove the conditions and a cold breeze is felt by most of the people in the room.
Lee and Helen see an orb fly across the ceiling.
Jeannette now feels better and enters the room and sits on a chair.
The woman Annie is here, Annie Wiltshire. Someone has just touched Ian. Jeannette is controlling the spirit
by the name of Joseph, he is desperately trying to talk through her but her guides have advised it not safe to
do so, he will not communicate any other way so no more information was forthcoming.
This gentleman passed with a massive heart attack and Lee is touched on the back.

Short coffee break

Cellar………….. 12.20 (Jeannette, Ian, Helen, Jan & Angela)

Before the investigation started Karl showed Lindsey, Helen, and Jan down to the cellar, they were quite
frightened by the presence of a man dressed in black and wearing a black cape, the atmosphere was
apparently quite negative. So with this in mind we were keen to find out who he was.
Caretakers room …. Nothing picked up at all.
Jeannette is sensing a well and water running under the building. Ian confirms that when a high tide comes in
the cellar floor gets wet.
There is a man here, he calls Jeannette a trollop! She sees an orb with her own eyes. This man is playing
games, he gives no information and is keeping 4 strides ahead of us as we try to catch him up to talk to him.
He just disappears. Orbs are caught on camera. A negative energy does not like women. Guides tell us to be
careful, and show us an image of Jack the Ripper and body snatchers. Jeannette gets the impression of
church and we ask him if he was something to do with a church, he doesn’t like this and a tapping noise is
heard and an orb caught on Jeannette. We are told that Karl doesn’t like it down here so Helen radios
upstairs to ask him to come down. He joins us and says he is quite happy in the cellar which seems odd. He
calls out to spirit; the name of Jonathan Farrington /Etherington is given. (This keeps cropping up in different
investigations!)
Helen calls out to Jonathan to come forward and do something to prove he is here. Jan, Helen and Jeannette
suddenly get headaches. Jeannette and Helen can smell a strong flowery perfume. Jan smells urine where
she is standing. Ian can smell something but unable to define what it is. These smells go as quickly as they
arrived.
Jeannette’s left eye is suddenly blurred and feels the caretaker would have had this problem, she is given an
image, the initials are D D  there is a Dafydd and also the name of Michael is given. Dafydd is the caretaker.
Lee is asked to come down to join the group at 1.05am
The temperature drops, everyone feels colder.
The clock starts ticking on its own!!
Lee feels a tickling on his ear, his left ear is now freezing cold and his right one is glowing red.
Lee is told he has links to Jonathan from a past life, in fact Lee ordered his death.

The entire group now join us, but no information is forthcoming so we decide to have a coffee break and then
regroup for glass divination in the cellar.

2am

Karl brings a table down to the cellar and Karl, Angela, Jeannette and Helen get ready to try the glass out.
A very confusing story then follows; it has nothing to do with the spirits in the museum, but is linked with past
lives of Jeannette and Lee.
We have a male spirit which in a past life was a female, Jeannette was a male in a past life and Lee female.
Jeannette and Lee were lovers, this spirit was killed by the both of them for having affairs. She was shot.
Knocking noise are heard.
The era is 17th century.
The spirit can not forgive Jeannette for taking her life. This spirit was Scottish; he came with Jeannette
tonight and has been around her at home recently. (Peter and Jeannette confirm odd things have been
happening indoors recently).
He is aware of Jeannette’s guides although not Lees and knows he can do nothing to hurt her.
Jeannette and this spirit were married in a past life, they had no children, Jeannette provided well, she was
also well to do and this is why the spirit married her.
There was no love in this relationship and although Jeannette had sired six illegitimate children the couple
had none.
The spirit tells us Jeannette had an accomplice he is here tonight…glass goes to Lee.
Jeannette and Lee were never tried for the murder…they got away with it.
The glass is going very fast around the table the spirit is angry and grounded. This spirit tells Lee he has
been searching for the two of us for all this time, spirit was in her early twenties when she passed. Spirit will
not go to the light.
A male and female spirit joins us and they are related to the first spirit.
Lindsey and Karl are both feeling hot, everyone else is cool. This spirit is causing hassle for Lee as well at
home recently.
Spirit suddenly gets bored of the questions and we think he/she leaves to be replaced by another male. This
spirit goes to Karl, and a strong pipe tobacco is smelt around the table.
Then another male spirit appears and goes to Peter, he says he is a relation. Lee and Jeannette feel
something is not quite right and Lee tells the spirit that by the universal law it can not lie three times and who
was he here for really. The glass shoots of to Jeannette and Lee and Lee confirms it is still the first spirit
playing games.
Lindsey see’s two orange orbs shoot across behind Lee, it is felt it is the two newer spirits leaving.
Lee and Jeannette tell this spirit it can in no way harm them or anyone in this world, they try to get him to go to
the light but he won’t.

Jeannette closes the table down and gives prayer and protection to all.

This was a long night but interesting, and we wish to give our heartfelt thanks to the museum  for
allowing us to investigate.
