WE CALLED THE SHOP BY THIS NAME DUE TO A LITTLE MAGNOLIA TREE
WE HAVE HAD FOR OVER 20 YEARS.
THE TREE WAS BOUGHT FOR PETER WHO OWNS THE SHOP BY HIS WIFE
JEANNETTE ON THEIR 1ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.
PAPER BEING THE TRADITIONAL GIFT FOR THE FIRST ONE,
PAPER COMES FROM TREES SO HENCE ONE LITTLE MAGNOLIA TREE ARRIVES.
NOW IT SAYS IN ALL THE GARDENING BOOKS THAT MAGNOLIA TREES
MUST NOT BE MOVED AS THEY HAVE SHALLOW AND BRITTLE ROOTS
AND THESE WILL SNAP IF DUG UP AND THE TREE WILL DIE.   
BUT...
WHEN JEANNETTE AND PETER MOVED HOME NOT ONCE BUT FOUR TIMES
LITTLE MAGNOLIA TREE WENT WITH THEM AND IT STILL
BLOSSOMED EVERY YEAR.
THEY MOVED TO WALES A WHILE AGO AND AGAIN
THE GARDENING BOOKS TELL YOU THE MAGNOLIA SHOULD BE
SHELTERED FROM FROSTS AND HARSH COLD WINDS,
SO WHERE DID IT END UP... RIGHT ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN
IN FULL BLAST OF HIGH, COLD WINDS AND IT STILL SURVIVED.
THE LITTLE TREE HAS NOW BEEN MOVED TO A MORE SHELTERED SPOT
IN A NEW GARDEN AND ALREADY TINY BUDS ARE BLOOMING.
WE FEEL THE TREE REPRESENTS US ...
WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH SO MANY DIFFICULT TIMES IN OUR LIVES
AND YET WE ARE STILL TOGETHER,
STILL BLOOMING WITH IDEAS TO HELP OTHERS.
AND SO THE TALE ENDS OF THE MAGNOLIA TREE,
A TINY SPECK IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE OF THINGS,
YET IT HAS HOPE AND TRUST AND IT SURVIVES.

TRUST,
LOVE
AND
BE HELPFUL TO OTHERS.
WE NEED TO LIVE LIFE WITH GOOD INTENT.

SPIRITUAL HEALING

Spiritual healers work with positive intention.  
They  focus their attention to the highest source  in the universe that they can imagine.  
The healers then consciously direct this experience of union with the universal source
through themselves to the patient. This is called channelling. The hands are mainly held a short
distance off the body.
At the end of a healing session healers will consciously break the
connection they have made with the patient.

REIKI HEALING.

A full treatment is given with the recipient lying fully clothed
except for shoes on a couch or sitting in a chair.
is usually a hands-on treatment (hands off is available) with the therapist placing
their hands in a sequence of positions on the body to transmit the Reiki energy.
It is not intrusive  and most people enjoy the contact.
When receiving Reiki you may feel  warmth or tingling in the area being treated.
Most people relax deeply feeling a release of tension and anxiety
which allows healing to begin.
Some people fall asleep during treatment and awake fully refreshed and revitalised.
            You do not have to be ill to benefit from its calming and relaxing effect.



HOPI EAR CANDLING


This tradition was brought to modern Europe by the Hopi, the oldest Pueblo tribe which has
vast medical knowledge and deep spirituality.
Hopi Earcandles are still made today with natural ingredients

The earcandles work by causing a light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of
the flame helps to create a vibration of air in the earcandle, generating a massage-like effect
on the eardrum. This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the
ears, forehead and sinuses.

Hopi Earcandles use only pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs.
