REPORT, PHOTO'S, VIDEO CLIPS.

CRAIG -Y - NOS CASTLE

On arriving at the castle in torrential rain we were warmly met by Kelly, and as we were sharing the
evening with Paranormal World we met up in the Patti bar before we started the investigation.
Steve who runs Paranormal World with Kelly came over and had a chat and then after a good laugh
we joined his group in the theatre for a small talk.

We then went on our way to do our own investigation of this wonderful castle.

Cellar 9.55pm

Lee is picking up on a big man wearing a leather piny over his clothes, he was a manual worker,
appx; 6’1” stocky build with a rough appearance. George Hawkins is his name approx; 46 years old.
The year of 1957 is given and he passed with stomach cancer.
He worked hard but was treated well, he carries on working carrying logs and going about his
everyday business, he maintained the property. He is grounded here but loves the place so much
he is content.

Jeannette’s legs are very cold.

The name of Frank Weatherspoon is given, not a nice soul. Lots of orbs are caught on camera.

A little boy called Thomas comes forward Lee calls out and we hear tapping noises form the corner,
Angela picks up a green anomaly on camera. Lee calls out again, again a tapping noise and Helen
catches orbs on the camcorder.
Libby, Jan & Kerry all hear quite distinctly a psssst sound and the noise of a stone being thrown,
(although we could not see one).
The smell of urine invades the area and then a heavy musty smell, all of which seem to come and go
really quickly.

10.10pm

Jan’s camera and Helens camera both suddenly turn off, a few seconds later they switch back on.
Then Jan’s camera and Helen’s camcorder both go out of focus at the same time.

Jeannette is feeling really sick and has to come out of the area and Lee has goose bumps.

We hear Thomas again in the corner, he is grounded and it is felt he did pass away here. He is
frightened of the man that walks down here. A knock comes again in response to Jeannette calling
out. The temperature is fluctuating between 14.7c – 18.8c

Thomas seems to be about 5/6 years of age.
Pete’s radio has turned from 3.12 – 4 for no apparent reason and he was wearing it so that he could
in no way accidentally hit the buttons.

There are 8 children sheltering in the cellars.

It is icy cold around Jeannette’s neck before we can do the temperature it is warm again.
The name of Desmond and Daniel is given.

Monks are also sensed.
Jeannette has a blinding headache in this area of the cellar, as soon as she walks out it goes.

We begin to realise that although spirit are around and watching us they don’t seem to want to
communicate.

11.00pm Coffee break.

Angela hears muffled voices sounding like two women talking.
Michael and Owens is picked up on, died of T.B.
As spirit draw near Jeannette starts to sway her throat is starting to feel tight.
A man who hung himself shows signs of remorse for the folk he left behind, he regrets what he did.
A bright flash is seen by Lee, Jeannette and Angela by Peter’s knee.
Urine is smelt again by Lee, Jeannette & Jan. Jeannette is standing underneath one of the old light
fittings and suddenly just starts to nod off, although she herself is not physically tired. Spirit lady
with the name of Abigail in 1948 comes in, Jeannette is so sleepy she has to go out the room, once
outside the area she is fine.
We think the light would have been over a hospital bed, and it is thought that this lady may well have
passed away here and was passing her last feelings on to Jeannette.

George has followed us up from the cellar and warns us to be careful.
Jan & Jeannette hear a loud whistle and Helen catches an orb in the area they both point to.

Lee picks up on a bald man who is not nice, a janitor. He has very sharp features, pointy nose,
square chin, Sunken cheeks. He is pacing back and forth, wearing grey trousers and a check shirt,
seems really stressed, he is saying over and over again “I haven’t got time for this”

Lee is asking questions but he doesn’t want to talk. 1945 era is felt by both mediums; this man wants
us to leave.
His name is Fred Jones, he is still pacing, and he is 5’3” in his 50’s. He passed with a heart condition.
He is cursing at us wants us to leave, so we do.

Midnight.

Children’s room…. The names of Daniel and Sarah are picked up and a Spanish name of Manuel.
There is no response to us calling out, and although a few possible orbs are caught it is very quiet.

We return downstairs for a coffee break, feeling quite disheartened at the lack of response from
spirit.

Cellar 1.25am

We decide to return to the cellar as this seems to have been the most active for us so far.
Jeannette for no apparent reason has the giggles and Lee also giggling suddenly just shouts out at
us… apart from scaring half the team to death there was no apparent reason to this outburst and
poor Lee is mortified that he done it…this is not Lee at all he takes his work extremely seriously and
has no time for Mediums who mess about whilst investigating, this had to be a spirit messing about
with both Mediums.

Whilst Jeannette and Lee are trying to get spirit to back off the others are experiencing odd
occurrences…
Jan feels a cold breath on her cheek.
Helen can smell urine again.
Helen & Kerry both feel their hair being touched.
Kerry has someone breathing right by her ear.
Libby is just not comfortable at all.
Jeannette stands very still and when Lee calls to her there is no response she is just staring and
rubbing her hands. She suddenly starts to sob, the name Alice is given and she can see a man
standing behind the group. She quickly recovers though.
Libby and Lee both hear shuffling of feet, Jan and Lee then hear a bang behind them.

Lee senses a man who had mental problems, the temperature is fluctuating between 18c – 16c
This man had a fall and ended up in a wheelchair. His name starts with a D,
Jeannette has backache and Libby’s shoulders are hurting.

This man had the mental age of 6-7 when he was in his early 20’s. His parents could not cope with
him and he was left here to be cared for. Showing a nurse with a hat with a red cross in the middle of
it. Padded blue sleeves, a watch, 1950’s. He fell close by in the grounds here, there was a bridge
involved. They were jumping off the bridge into the water and he landed awkwardly. His parents
visited him regularly.
Dustin? He is not grounded he comes in visitation, he had a fondness for the nurse that looked after
him, they had a strong bond.
Meredith and Jack Freeman were his parent’s names. Showing Lee that they used to store games in
the cellars he used to come down with his nurse to get them. He used to play chess to encourage
his brain to work.
One to one therapy, hence the strong bond
A ginger cat has just jumped onto the chair onto his knees, this cat is called Suds, and the cat was
always by the sink it liked to play with the water.
The boy was shown so much love here, he was happy here, he does not usually show himself in the
cellar more in the bar area. He has come to see us here. The nurse was called Ada Williams.
He has to go back and says with a laugh “happy hunting – good luck”

Theatre 2.00am

Aled Jones is a name heard but absolutely nothing else is forthcoming, again possible orbs on
digital camera.

It is decided to move on to the other smaller cellar.

Under stage /cellar 2.25am

We decide to hold a séance; Libby, Lee, Kerry and Peter sit at the table. Lee calls out for spirit and
Johnny comes in, he is a little boy about 7/8 years of age.
He is walking around the table, cold blasts are felt by everyone, and Lees back is cold. Kerry is
feeling very shaky and decides to leave the table, Jeannette takes her place.
Lee says Johnny is standing by Jan, looking over her shoulder, Jan is getting a freezing cold breeze
on her right side and she shows Johnny her camera. Johnny is wearing a black beret, dungarees.
He walks over to the radiator towards Kerry.
Helen and Jan both feel someone playing with their hair and what feels like cobwebs on their faces.

No other information or communication is felt/given and Jeannette thanks spirit and closes the
séance down.

It is now 3.30am and as some of our team have a two hour drive ahead of them we decide to finish
for the night.

We were a bit disappointed in the lack of information coming from spirit but we had lots of moving
orbs on camcorder, and light anomalies on digital camera.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and the highlight for the Mediums was the manifestation they both
saw in the cellar.

We wish to give our thanks to Steve and Kelly for allowing us the opportunity to investigate
Craig Y Nos.
We highly recommend a visit, the staff are friendly, the food is wonderful and the building
Magnificent.
